YouCan Trust creates individual development programs for young people to give them a chance to live a self-determined, independent life. To achieve this, the focus is on programs that promote and instill self-sufficiency and sustainability.

who we are
YouCan Trust is a UK registered non-profit organisation founded by Wilfried Ifland, Gudrun Nienaber, Andy Eyschen and Lutz Lessmann, who have been living and working in South East Asia for many years. From early on the four have been interested in the social environment of the countries they have lived in and the negative impact of globalization on the poor.
It very soon became obvious that the youth of these countries in particular have no viable perspective on life, no jobs, no money, no pupose. That´s when the four decided to start an initiative to change this. The key to a better life and perspective lies in education and skills.
Lifelong Learning
The four soon realized that handing out money wasn´t going to work. Instead they believed that if you teach someone how to fish you will feed them for a lifetime. And that´s the mission of YouCan Trust.
