Review Entrepreneur Spirit Day, 16.11.09
24.11.2009 12:33
The first Entrepreneur Spirit Day took place in the Hall of the Annette-von-Droste-Huelsholff Gymnasium in connection with “Global Entrepreneur Week”. This event was organized by the EU21Club which consists of students from Grade 13 of the Gymnasium.
The EU21Club looks after the project Entrepreneur@School with assistance from Wilfried Ifland (Chairman of YouCan Trust). About 20 students found their way into the Hall and made remarkable presentations. Within a 90 minute time window, the students managed to show how the actions and thoughts of entrepreneurs provide insight into the complexity of the modern world. In addition, they demonstrated the most modern tools, such as Google Wave, and showed video clips how the world is changing through digitalization.
An emotional presentation with thoughts on their own future and on the possibilities reflected by the world of tomorrow. The Entrepreneur Spirit Day was professionally moderated by John David Seidler (media scientist) and Maximilian Kaiser (cameraman and video editor). Their movie clip will be published shortly. The next presentation of the e-U21Club is planned for March 2010. All interested students are most welcome to join the Club. Participation is free. Just >contact here!
Come on!
Entrepreneurship, what does this mean?
To understand what motivates Entrepreneurs, how business models are created (and disappear), what it means to think (and act) entrepreneurially, is a decisive condition to create one’s own future.
The initiative “Entrepreneur@School” opens the possibility for interested people to have personal contact with practicing professionals and to experience the economy first-hand.
The Initiative
The participating students are shown how to develop solutions from good ideas and to become fit for life after school through key qualifications.
